Shocking Technologies opens Technical Design office in Denmark Download PDF
 
  SAN JOSE, Calif. – September 22, 2009 - Shocking Technologies Inc., the leading developer of next generation electrostatic discharge protection solutions, announces the opening of their technical design office in Denmark today.

We are pleased to announce that Eli Michelsen will join Shocking Technologies as a key member of the technical staff team in Denmark.

"Eli has a very long and in depth knowledge of ESD, cell phone and RF design and he will take us to the next level of customer support and design. We are very excited to have Eli on the Shocking Team," said Kenneth Engestang, Vice President of Sales and Business Development.

Mr. Michelsen who is based in Copenhagen, Denmark, an EMC industry veteran with more than 30 yrs experience in ESD, RF, and cell phone design. He will work very closely with our cellular handset, telecom and other customers to implement, debug and support Shocking Technologies XstaticTM VDSM deployments.

Mr. Michelsen joined Shocking Technologies from Nokia Mobile Phones Denmark, where he was responsible for key component selection such as RF, PA/FEM and solving ESD/EMI problems on majority of their phone programs for 12 yrs. Prior to Nokia, Mr. Michelsen worked at Scientific Atlanta with EMC and CE marking. He has also been with Delta a consultant company for prototype development in the electronics industry focused primarily on Microwave, RF, EMC and PCB design.
