Mr. Lex Kosowsky brings to the business a successful track record in launching high tech companies in the semiconductor packaging and manufacturing environments. Dr. Robert Fleming, specializes in adhesion and interface science and polymer coating technologies . He brings 19 years of polymer and chemical industry experience to Shocking Technologies. Mr. Kenneth Engestang has over 24 years of sales and executive experience in the semiconductor and cellular handset and infrastructure segments. The team has been highly successful in identifying and engaging with market leaders in the consumer electronics, communications, and semiconductor sectors.  
     
Lex A. Kosowsky
President and Chief Executive Officer, Shocking Technologies
 
Mr. Lex Kosowsky is founder, President and Chief Executive Officer at Shocking Technologies, an innovator in the development and manufacture of polymer nano-composite materials. Since launching the company in 2006, Mr. Kosowsky has defined its direction and growth. Mr. Kosowsky has over 27 years of executive and technical management experience in semiconductor technology and equipment ventures. Mr. Kosowsky has held numerous executive management positions. He spent his early career at National Semiconductor Corporation as President of its Dyna-Craft subsidiary where he managed five manufacturing plants and built revenue to over $200 million. Mr. Kosowsky was CEO and member of the board of directors of DMS Technologies, a manufacturer of semiconductor and fiber optic assembly equipment and materials. Prior to DMS, Mr. Kosowsky was Executive Vice President of Interconnect Technology, a $2B wafer foundry project located in Malaysia and backed by a multinational investment group. As co-founder, president and member of the board of directors at Leading Technologies, Mr. Kosowsky built a 75,000 sq. ft. leadframe plating and etching facility that produced $20+ million in first year sales. Mr. Kosowsky began his career at National Semiconductor. He holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts.

Robert Fleming
Chief Technology Officer, Shocking Technologies
 
Dr. Fleming is the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Shocking Technologies. Dr. Fleming has over 20 years of experience in developing products in the fields of chemistry, polymers, and materials science. Prior to joining Shocking Technologies, Dr. Fleming worked for 3M Corporation. As Display and Graphics Program Manager, Dr. Fleming led R&D projects in the areas of nanoparticles, displays, photovoltaics, light emitting diodes (LED), and organic light emitting devices (OLED). As a certified Six Sigma Black Belt, Dr. Fleming managed 3M’s Six Sigma program for New Product Introductions (NPI), was Senior Product Development Supervisor for specialty films, and Team Leader for new thin film technologies. In his first position as R&D specialist at 3M, Dr. Fleming developed and patented many new products and processes in the area of thin film optical materials and successfully launched two new products in the field of retroreflective materials. Previously, Dr. Fleming held quality control and development positions at Hoechst-Celanese Corporation. Dr. Fleming started his career at Nations-Ford Chemicals conducting a wide range of chemistry synthesis, development and quality control activities. Dr. Fleming received the Inventor Excellence Award from the State of Minnesota (1999), the Hoechst-Celanese Excellence in Polymer Science Award (1992), and was a University of Massachusetts Goodyear Fellow. Dr. Fleming is a Member of the American Chemical Society and the Materials Research Society. He holds over 20 patents. Dr. Fleming received his MS and PhD degrees in polymer science and engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and his BS in chemistry from Winthrop University.

Kenneth Engestang
Vice President of Business Development
and Sales, Shocking Technologies
 
Mr. Engestang is Vice President of Business Development and Sales at Shocking Technologies. Mr. Engestang has over 24 years of sales and executive experience in the semiconductor industry in the cellular handset and infrastructure segments. Prior to joining Shocking Technologies, Mr. Engestang was Vice President of Sales at Amalfi Semiconductor where he headed up and drove engagements with the top tier handset manufacturers. Previously, Mr. Engestang was responsible for Broadcom’s sales in the Nordic countries. He drove business development in Ericsson, Nokia, and Sony Ericsson, achieving over $80M in sales. Mr. Engestang also drove the cellular sales strategy and supported the European Cellular Carrier interface for Broadcom. Before joining Broadcom, Mr. Engestang co-founded several companies in the Nordic countries and the Baltics, where he held positions as Managing Director and Vice President. He grew these businesses from inception to greater than $40M in revenue. Mr. Engestang has worked actively in the cellular industry since the early days of NMT & GSM.

Marius Domokos
General Counsel and Vice President of Legal Affairs
 
Marius Domokos is the General Counsel and Vice President of Legal Affairs at Shocking Technologies. Marius has represented companies in all areas of Corporate law, from general operational issues to large M&A transactions and IPOs, and has worked with financial entities on a wide range of transactions, including collateral valuations, asset due diligence, investments and IPOs. Marius has substantial litigation experience within the U.S. and internationally, has managed large-scale cross-assertions involving hundreds of patents opposite some of the largest global patent holders, and has negotiated favorable settlements in many complex disputes. In the commercial space, Marius has negotiated large volume purchase and supply agreements, inbound and outbound technology licenses, asset purchase transactions, complex joint ventures, and development and collaboration agreements. In the IP space, Marius has written and prosecuted strategic patents, has developed global patent portfolios and offensive and defensive global litigation strategies, has negotiated complex patent cross-license agreements, and has commercialized patent portfolios. Marius received his BS and MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California and his JD from U.C. Berkeley Law School. During college and graduate school, Marius worked for Hughes Space and Communications, NASA and JPL. After law school, Marius was in private practice at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati twice, and worked in-house at KLA-Tencor and Intel.
