TECHNOLOGY : Qualification
     
 
XStatic™ VSD™ materials are shipped with a Certificate of Compliance. Reliability testing and qualification of the integrated material set is performed by each of our supply base Partners in accordance with their individual qualification requirements and/or their customer‘s product specifications.
 
Reliability Testing
The main objective of our reliability qualification is to ensure the long term integrity of our VSD™ formulations. We work closely with OEMs, IDMs, assembly houses and materials suppliers to provide the most robust system level solutions.
 
Our technology must meet acceptable quality and reliability performance standards as defined by our customers. Along with our supply channel partners, we perform reliability testing on our formulations to ensure that they pass JEDEC or IPC standards as applicable. Reliability tests performed on XStatic™-100 VSD™ material include:
 
  b Steady State Temperature Humidity Bias Life Test (85/85), JESD22-A-101-B,
  b Highly Accelerated Temperature and Humidity Stress Test (HAST), JESD22-A110-B, and
  b Temperature Cycling, JESD22-A104C.
 
In addition, we provide information on the thermal, chemical and electrical properties of our formulations. Mechanical properties such as coefficients of thermal expansion (CTE), peel strength and flexural strength are also measured as part the characterization process for each XStatic™ formulation.
 
We test our formulations in accordance with the EN 61000-4-2 standard for ESD Immunity Testing. Our XStatic™-100 VSD™ formulation passes both Level 4 Contact and Air Discharge modes (8,000V).
